A Dingo – Plain and Simple

My Chair, My Bone – Sayde in her element
Watching over her Kingdom

Happy, Happy

Miss Sayde, you get me to breathe every day. You watch over me and are my constant companion. I adore you and with you beside me, my heart is full and content. I thank you, my precious Dingo Girl!

What’s all the stink about?

Dogs poop.  Just like humans.  But, why are we so obsessed with our dog’s poop?  If your pup begins to squat, you stop mid-sentence in a conversation, turn your head, watch the process and then go over and analyze the results.  Why is her poop so runny?  Why is her poop so smelly?  What did she get into?  What did I feed her?  It is quite a production of unanswered questions.

And then there is the leash walking in the neighborhood.  Don’t forget your bag, because it would be a sin to watch your dog poop and not pick it up, just walking away from it.  Like it will always stay there and never wash away or dry up and disappear.  And don’t you dare let her poop on someone’s lawn.

We train our dogs to poop on streets in town, but take them to mountain trails and oh, no, do not let them poop on the trail.  How confused the pup must be.  First you want me to poop on this street trail and now you are yelling at me to get off the dirt trail and poop in the bushes.

Poop is poop.  It is not pleasant but necessary in many creatures, but the dog poop gets the worse rap of all.  Even horse owners do not need to pick up heaping mounts of manure on trails and believe me, when I come around a corner on my bike and have to ride through that shit and it sticks on my bike tires, splaying as I continue down the trail, I wonder why dog poop must be picked up and horse manure does not.  Can you imagine a horse owner getting off the horse, using a garbage bag to shovel up the manure and then carrying that huge bag out of the trail?  But again, poop is poop.  Pick it up.

How do you think humans pooped when there were no bathrooms or outhouses?  We went in the bushes.  Did we pick it up?  I think not.
